Action Steps For Connectors

HELP BUILD THE BASE

  1. Carve out a time to review your network.
  2. Determine who among them might have a heart to serve the persecuted.
  3. Determine what type of personality they are: Leader, Prayer, etc.
  4. Ask God to show you who you should connect to whom.
  5. Tell them about PPF.
  6. Introduce them to the “Get Active” Packet.
  7. Pray that God will open their hearts.

USE SOCIAL MEDIA TO BLOG, TWEET OR POST

  1. Check out the PPF News and Stories to understand the recent issues facing Sudan and how PPF is engaged in Active Compassion for the Persecuted.
  2. “Like” the PPF Fan Page on Facebook and “Follow” PPF on Twitter.
  3. Help spread awareness by re-posting the stories and projects that PPF is engaged in, and by blogging about related subjects.
  4. Tag anyone you think would pray or who is in a position to bring awareness (such as friends in media).
  5. Start conversations with those who “like” your comments. Ask if they’ll help spread the word too.
  6. Add your thoughts to the posts—what inspired you, what saddened you.
  7. Pray for those who read your posts.

THE 100 CHALLENGE

Get 100 people to take action towards the PPF campaign of your choice. Get 100 people to buy 100wells T-shirts, or perhaps get 100 people to each give 100 dollars to the persecuted. Use your connector skills to motivate using the 7 steps listed below and bring active compassion to the persecuted.

  1. Chose the PPF campaign you wish to support. (Get Active, 100wells, SaveTheNuba).
  2. Choose your target group(s).
  3. Determine what your challenge to those 100 people will be.
  4. Recruit your friends and colleagues to help.
  5. Contact PPF staff for motivation and helpful ideas.
  6. Launch your campaign!
  7. Post what you are doing to Social Media.
