Action Steps For Implementers
PRESENT THE GET ACTIVE PACKET TO YOUR PASTOR OR COMMUNITY GROUP
- Read through the packet and watch the video.
- Make a list of with whom you will share the packets.
- Arrange a Meeting/Date/Time/Place.
- Open the meeting with Prayer, Share the Video and Booklet.
- Review the “Get Active” categories and identify what steps each person can take to help.
- Ask group members to commit to one of the Action Steps.
- Use Social Media to track your commitment and results.
HOST A YARD SALE
- Talk to your friends and neighbors and set a date.
- Accumulate Items to Sell / Ask for Donations.
- Advertise the Yard Sale (Craigslist, Signs, Newspaper).
- Go to the Bank and get change and small bills.
- Price Items, Mow Lawn, Set up Tables.
- Download and print information about PPF to set on tables to explain who is benefitted.
- Facebook and Tweet the results. encouraging others to also Get Active.
WRITE TO YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS
- Visit PPF website (persecutionproject.com/letters) and determine which letter(s) you want to send.
- Edit the wording of the letter to suit you.
- Visit this Website: http://www.usa.gov/Contact/Elected.shtml and identify your elected officials.
- Print and mail, or e-mail the letter.
- Pray for the official’s heart and ask that God open doors.
- Facebook and Tweet about your letter.
- Ask friends to write a letter as well.
