Serving You – PPF Director Charlie Smith

PPF Director Charlie Smith brings encouragement to our brothers and sisters in Africa-1Persecution Project Foundation is not a “one-man show” like some organizations. We’re a team – a team of Christians from all kinds of different backgrounds with one uniting purpose: to engage in active compassion for the persecuted.

We wanted to introduce you to one of these special people who operate behind the scenes to keep PPF going… and growing.

Charlie Smith is a founding member of PPF’s Board of Directors. He was the first Director to travel with Brad Phillips during the tumultuous years of war in Southern Sudan. Charlie lives in Mississippi with his wife, Jan, and works with the state Department of Health and Human Services. Charlie served nearly four terms in the Mississippi state legislature. He has spent most of his adult life serving others, whether they be in his own backyard, or 9,000 miles away in Sudan.

PPF is blessed to have an abundance of “servant leaders” like Charlie Smith.
